Hey friends— in today’s reading to the chronological reading, we read our first Psalm. For all you OCD types (and I am raising my own hand here), this can be a struggle, because it may seem like there is no rhyme or reason to when we read which Psalms.
There is rhyme and reason. It follows when scholars believe that Psalm was written or what that Psalm is about, relative to the timeline of the events of the Bible. So today, we read Psalm 90, because today in the reading we got to the song of Moses.
So a few years ago I posted this chart that I created in Excel as a Psalms checklist. Print this off and stick it in your Bible if you need a visual of what Psalms you have read and which ones you have left to do. I hope this helps.
